WELDING LOGBOOK PROCEDURE
LOCAL 63 MEMBERS
To renew your Welding Certification Card-Bring your logbook to our Training Center on the dates noted in the Training Schedule and run the appropriate passes in front on one of our CWI’s (“Certified Welding Inspector”). Once your welds have been inspected the CWI will sign, date and stamp your log book. The first (6)month the CWI will sign, date and stamp your logbook. At the second (6)month’s interval the CWI will sign, date and stamp your logbook and in addition, make a copy for us to send into the National Welding Committee. It will take 2-3 weeks to process before you will get your new Welder ID Card. Please remember that the log book must be filled out every six months from the initial date on your welding card.
